It is this time of pandemic where health and immunity is very important. However, not all are aware as to how to properly prevent and avoid getting the virus. This website promotes health awareness and care, focusing on taking care of the circulatory and respiratory systems. This helps aid the audience in gaining more information about COVID-19 and how to take care of yourself and your body systems (Circulatory and Respiratory) during this Global Health Crisis. This website will also tackles its importance and how it affects not only our health during the pandemic, but also how it affects our lives as a whole.

What is COVID-19?
COVID-19 is an infectious respiratory disease caused by a newly discovered corona virus, SARS-CoV-2, emerging last December 2019 in Wuhan, China. The virus causes infections in upper respiratory tract such as your nose, sinuses, or upper throat. The virus can lead to pneumonia, respiratory failure, septic shock, and death.

How it spreads
According to WHO, The virus that causes COVID-19 is mainly transmitted through droplets generated when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or exhales. These droplets are too heavy to hang in the air, and quickly fall on floors or surfaces.
You can be infected by breathing in the virus if you are within close proximity of someone who has COVID-19, or by touching a contaminated surface and then your eyes, nose or mouth.
